Order, Cancellation and Dispute Policy

Effective from October 2, 2026Version 1

In short

How orders run from payment to approval, what happens when delivery is late or the work is not right, how cancellations and partial refunds work, and how Belancer decides a dispute.

Closed beta text. Belancer's lawyer in Bangladesh reviews this policy before public launch.

How an order runs

  1. The client pays and the money is held in Payment Secured.
  2. The seller confirms the client's requirements and starts.
  3. The seller delivers through the order page.
  4. The client approves, or asks for changes within the revisions included.
  5. If the client does nothing for 3 days after delivery, the order completes on its own.

Offers sent in chat are valid for 3 days unless the seller sets otherwise.

Late delivery

If the seller misses the delivery date, the client can extend it, or cancel with a full refund to their Belancer Balance.

Cancellations

  • Before work starts, either side can ask to cancel; if both agree, the client gets a full refund.
  • After work starts, a cancellation needs both sides to agree on what is paid for the work done. If they cannot agree, either can open a dispute.
  • Cancellations that are the seller's fault count against their record.

Partial refunds

A partial refund splits the held money between the client and the seller exactly. The Belancer fee is taken only on the part the seller receives.

Disputes

  • Raise an issue from the order first and try to agree.
  • If you cannot agree, open a dispute. The other side has 48 hours to answer.
  • Both sides can propose a settlement; an agreed settlement closes the case.
  • Otherwise a Belancer reviewer decides within 3 business days, using only what happened on Belancer: the order, messages, files and deliveries.
  • Either side can appeal within 7 days. Money stays frozen until the appeal is decided.

Issues during Pending

After money is released, the client can still raise an issue during the Pending period (14 days). The related money is frozen until the case ends.
