To create a gig, open My gigs and choose Create a gig. Gig Studio walks you through six steps: Overview, Pricing, About & FAQ, Requirements, Gallery, and Review & publish. Your draft saves automatically. When every item on the readiness list is done, choose Publish gig; our team checks it and it goes live.
Before you start
- A live seller profile and an approved ID check. See become a seller.
- A clear idea of what you'll deliver in three sizes (Basic, Standard, Premium). Not sure? Use gig ideas.
- Up to 3 good images of your work (JPEG, PNG or WEBP).
Steps
1Start a new gig
In My gigs, choose Create a gig. On the first screen choose Start with ideas to get suggestions, or I already know what to sell.
2Overview
- Gig title: what you'll do, in up to 80 characters. Example: "I will design a modern logo for your business".
- Category, sub-category and service type.
- Tags: up to 5 search words.
- Create as: Individual, or Agency if you own or manage an approved agency.
Choose Save & continue.
3Pricing
Fill in the Basic, Standard and Premium packages: a name, What's included, Delivery time, Revisions and a price in both BDT and USD. Add Extras if you like. See gig packages and extras.
4About & FAQ
Write About this gig (120 to 999 characters): the problem you solve, your process, and what the buyer gets. Add up to 7 FAQs.
5Requirements
Under Questions for your buyer, add up to 3 questions (each up to 150 characters). The buyer answers them right after paying, and the delivery clock starts when they submit.
6Gallery
Upload up to 3 images, an optional video (up to 75 seconds and 50 MB) and up to 2 PDFs. Files are checked for viruses ("Checking…") before they're accepted.
7Review & publish
You see your gig as clients will. The checklist shows Everything is ready or A few things to finish, with items like the title length, three packages in USD and BDT, the About length and "No contact details found". Fix anything listed, then choose Publish gig.
What happens next
Your gig goes to a quick review by our team (usually within 24 hours). When approved you see Your gig is live!, and for your first gig you earn 30 credits. If changes are needed, the gig shows Changes needed with the reasons; fix them and choose Send again.
Troubleshooting
- "Your seller profile isn't live yet." Choose Finish your profile.
- "Your ID isn't verified yet." Choose Verify your ID and wait for approval.
- "Selling needs a Bangladeshi ID and address." Selling is only for Bangladeshi citizens living in Bangladesh.
- "You've reached your active gig limit." Pause or archive a gig in My gigs.
- "A file is still being checked." Wait a moment, then publish.
- "Contact details found: remove them." Delete phone numbers, emails, social handles and outside links from all fields.
- Prices won't save. Each price must be a whole number, meet the minimum, and rise from Basic to Premium in both currencies.
Good to know
- Big edits are checked again. Changing the title, category, packages or gallery of a live gig sends it for review; the old version stays live meanwhile. Small edits go live at once.
- Agency gigs sell under your agency's name, and orders are assigned to a team member.
- Open orders are never changed by later edits; each order keeps the price and package from checkout.
Tip: Your first image does most of the selling. Use a clean picture of real work with a few words, not a stock photo.
Note: Writing help marked AI is a suggestion only. Read and edit it so it sounds like you and promises only what you deliver.
Questions and answers
What do I need before creating a gig?
A live seller profile and an approved ID check. You can start a draft earlier, but you can only publish once both are done.
Does it cost anything to create or publish a gig?
No. Editing and publishing gigs is always free. Belancer takes a fee only when an order is paid and completed.
Why must I set prices in both BDT and USD?
Clients in Bangladesh see BDT and international clients see USD. Prices are never converted, so you set each one yourself.
How long does gig review take?
New gigs are checked by our team, usually within 24 hours. You get an email when it's live or if changes are needed.
Can I put my WhatsApp or email in my gig?
No. Contact details and outside links are not allowed in gigs. The readiness checklist warns you, and publishing is blocked until you remove them.
Do I get credits for my first gig?
Yes. When your first gig goes live you earn 30 welcome credits.
