Gigs
Ask to promote your gig
In short. Ask to show one of your live gigs in search results or in a category, for the days you pick. Staff review every request, and ads are always labelled Ad. It takes 4 steps: Open the request page; Choose where it shows; Set the days and send; Follow your requests.

On this page
You can ask Belancer to show one of your live gigs at the top of search results or inside a category page. You choose where and for how many days. Staff review every request before anything goes live, and promoted gigs are always labelled Ad. There is no charge yet.
Before you start
- You need at least one live gig. Publish a gig first if you have none: see Create a gig.
Steps
1Open the request page
Open Promote your gig and pick the gig from Which gig?. Only live gigs are listed.
2Choose where it shows
Tick Search results (sponsored), Category pages, or both.
3Set the days and send
Type how many days you prefer, or leave it empty for the standard length. Staff may approve fewer days. Tap to send the request.
4Follow your requests
Your requests are listed on the same page with their status: waiting for review, live, paused or ended.
If something goes wrong
- The list of gigs is empty. Only a live gig can be promoted. Publish a gig first, then come back.
- My request is still waiting. Staff review every request. You will see the status change on this page.
- I want to stop it. Contact support and name the gig. Staff can pause or end the ad.
Note: No promise is made about views, clicks or orders. A promoted gig is shown more often, nothing more.
