How to become a Belancer Consultant and offer paid calls.

Belancer Consultants sell paid one-to-one video calls. Consulting is by invitation and always checked by Belancer: you apply with an invitation, pass a credential check and a short interview, then set up your topics, call prices and weekly hours. Once approved, you get the Belancer Consultant badge and clients can book you.

Before you start

• An approved ID check and a profile at least 90% complete.
• An invitation from Belancer (valid 7 days). No invitation? Use Request an invite on the consulting page.
• Your call topics, prices in BDT and USD, and the hours you can offer each week.

Steps

1Open your invitation and apply

Open the invite link, check you're eligible, and fill in the application: topics, skills, years of experience, marketplace experience, samples, links, a certificate if you have one, why you want to consult, and your availability. Accept the terms. With a Handpicked badge, the form is shorter.

2Review and interview

Our team checks your credentials and schedules a short interview. You'll see the status In review and get emails at each stage.

3Set up your consulting offer

When approved, open Offer consultations from the account menu. On Your consulting offer:

• Topics: what clients can book you for.
• One line about you.
• Lengths and prices: set Price (BDT) and Price (USD) for each call length; at least ৳500 or $5.
• Before the call: questions clients answer when booking.
• Weekly availability: your time zone, blocks for each day, Buffer between calls, Max calls per day and how many hours ahead clients must Book at least.

4Send for review

Choose Send for review. The status shows In review: "Belancer is checking it; you'll get an email." When it's Live, clients can book you.

5Run your calls

Your calls appear in My calls. Join from the call page when the room opens, share notes after the call and send a follow-up offer if the client needs more.

What happens next

Your first call is reviewed by our talent team. Payment for each call is released 24 hours after it ends (unless reported), then stays Pending for 14 days before it's Available.

Troubleshooting

• "Before it can go live": finish the missing items shown: a live seller profile, ID verification, at least one price, weekly hours or a topic.
• "Paused by Belancer". The reason is shown. Fix it and wait for re-review.
• No bookings yet. Add clearer topics, check your prices and open more hours.
• The invitation expired. Ask for a new invite through the waitlist.

Good to know

• Re-review: consultants are re-checked every 6 months, or sooner if the rating falls below 4.5, after 2 no-shows, or after an upheld complaint.
• No-shows matter: if you miss a call, the client gets a full refund and you get a strike.
• Google Calendar: connect it so busy times block your slots and bookings appear in your calendar.
• Pause anytime: Pause consulting hides booking without touching your gigs; Resume brings it back.

Tip: Name topics by the result a client wants ("Price your first gig", "Review my portfolio") rather than broad subjects.

Important: Never move a call to another app or ask for payment outside Belancer. It removes the client's protection and breaks the rules.
