On this page
To join an agency, open the invitation email and choose to view the agency, then Accept on the join page. You'll see your role and pay type. As a member (Freelancer role) you work on orders the agency assigns to you, chat with those clients and deliver. Your own solo gigs and Balance stay yours.
Before you start
- You need a seller profile and an approved ID check. See ID check.
- You can belong to one agency at a time.
- Agree your pay type with the owner before accepting.
Steps
1Open the invitation
The email and notification say you're invited to join the agency with a role. Choose View agency to read about it.
2Accept or decline
On the join page, check the role and pay type, then accept. If it's not for you, decline; the owner is told.
3Understand your role
- Freelancer (member): work on assigned orders, chat with clients on those orders, deliver and handle revisions.
- Manager: also invites members, bids, sends offers and manages gigs.
- Owner: everything, and the only one who withdraws from the Agency Balance.
4Check your pay type
- Salaried: your share is set to zero; the agency gets the full amount and pays you off-platform.
- Commission: you get a set share of each order you deliver, paid to your own Balance on release.
You can't be assigned orders until a pay type is set.
5Get ready for agency orders
Agency orders open soon: in the agency menu, Orders shows Soon. Until then, add a title and skills on your member page so the owner can assign you the right work. When orders open, the ones assigned to you appear in your Orders, and clients see "Agency · delivered by" you.
6Leave an agency (if needed)
On your member page, choose Leave agency, then Yes, leave. Open orders stay with the agency and are reassigned.
What happens next
When agency orders open and an order assigned to you is completed, your share (for commission) goes to your Pending balance, then Available after 14 days. Reviews count for both the agency and you.
Troubleshooting
- "The agency cancelled this invitation." Ask the owner to send a new one.
- The invitation expired. Invitations last 7 days; ask for a resend.
- I can't accept. You may already be in another agency, or your ID check isn't approved.
- I'm not getting orders. Your pay type may not be set yet; ask the owner.
Good to know
- Rate changes affect only future assignments. Each order keeps the share that was set when it was assigned to you.
- If an order is reassigned, the share goes to the member who finally delivers it.
- Agencies can have up to 50 members.
Tip: Get your pay type in writing in the agency chat before you accept, so expectations are clear for both sides.
Note: Your personal job success and reviews stay separate from the agency's, though agency reviews also count for the member who delivered.
