On this page
An agency lets you sell as a team. Open the Agencies page and choose Apply to open an agency. If you're eligible, fill in five details (name, tagline, about your agency, logo and banner) and choose Submit for review. Once approved, your public agency page goes live with the Approved agency badge, and you can invite members and create agency gigs.
Before you start
Three things must be true:
- Seller profile live. See become a seller.
- Identity verified (approved ID check). See ID check.
- No agency yet. Each person can own one agency.
Steps
1Check eligibility
On the Agencies page, choose Check eligibility or Apply to open an agency. Any missing item is listed, for example "Seller profile live" or "eKYC verified".
2Fill in the five details
On Tell us about your agency:
- Name: unique, up to 60 characters.
- Tagline: one line, up to 120 characters.
- About your agency: what you do and for whom, up to 1500 characters.
- Logo and banner.
"You can edit these later."
3Submit for review
Choose Submit for review. The status page shows that your agency is under review, with the expected time.
4Get the decision
- Approved: you get an email and your agency dashboard opens.
- Not approved: you see the reason from Belancer. Choose Edit and resubmit.
5Get your agency going
On the dashboard, Get your agency going suggests two first steps: Invite your first member and Create an agency gig. In Gig Studio, choose Create as: Agency so the gig sells under your agency's name.
What happens next
Your public page shows your banner, logo, name, tagline, Approved agency, about, team, gigs and reviews tagged "Delivered by". Orders are assigned to members, and earnings are split automatically. See agency earnings split.
Troubleshooting
- "You already own an agency." One agency per owner.
- The name is taken. Agency names must be unique; try another.
- "This agency is suspended." Its public page is hidden. Check your email for the reason or contact support.
- I want to apply again after a refusal. Fix the reason and resubmit; if asked to wait, you can reapply after 30 days.
Good to know
- Roles: Owner (everything; the only one who withdraws), Manager (invites, bids, offers, gigs) and Freelancer (assigned orders, chat, delivery).
- Agency proposals use credits from the agency's pool, and choose Bid as: Agency.
- No self-hiring: you can't hire your own agency from your own account or company.
- Verified business: agencies can also verify a trade licence for the Verified business badge.
Tip: Write About your agency for clients, not for us: what problems you solve, how your team works, and examples of results.
Note: Every agency order has exactly one assigned member, and clients see "Agency · delivered by" that member.
