Discover is a short set of questions you answer by tapping, with nothing to type. At the end you get a summary: where you are now, the skills you already hold, the main gap to your goal, your stage and the kinds of help that fit. Your answers are saved to your Belancer profile as you go.

Before you start

• It takes about two minutes. You can skip any screen or tap Not sure.
• You can use it without an account. Your answers wait in this browser and join your account when you sign in.

Steps

1Open Discover and tap Start

Open Discover and tap Start. You will see five short steps, with a bar showing where you are.

2Tap the answers that fit you

Each screen shows a few choices, the most relevant first. Tap the ones that describe you (some screens let you pick up to 3). Tap More to see the rest. Skip and Not sure are always there, and Back shows the answers you already gave.

3Read your summary

After the last screen your summary appears: your situation, the skills you hold, the main gap between you and your goal, your stage and the kinds of help that fit, such as mentors or programs.

4Move on

Only want to learn or teach? There are shorter ways: tell us what you want to learn or tell us what you can teach.

From the summary, open Your matches or For you to see people and programs picked for you. See Your matches and For you.

If something goes wrong

• I do not see a choice that fits me. Tap Not sure or Skip. Nothing is held against you.
• I closed the page halfway. Open Discover again. Your answers are kept.
• Discover shows a paused page. This part of Belancer is switched off for now. Try again later.

Note: Belancer never guesses sensitive things about you from your name, photo or answers.
