Affiliate Programme Terms

Effective from October 12, 2026Version 1

In short

Draft for lawyer review: not legal advice until approved. The plain-English rules for earning commission with Belancer affiliate links: who can join, what counts as a sale, refunds, payouts and when we can stop a payout.

Draft for lawyer review: not legal advice until approved. Belancer's lawyer in Bangladesh has not approved this text yet. Anything marked [lawyer to confirm] is a legal judgement still to be checked. Anything marked [decision needed] is a rule the founder has not decided yet.

1. About these terms

These terms are the rules of the Belancer Affiliate Programme. You accept them when you tick the box on the application. They sit beside the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy. If they disagree about the affiliate programme, these terms win.

2. Who can join

  • Anyone with a Belancer account can apply. You tell us where you will promote (a site, a social page or a community), and Belancer approves or declines each application. If we decline, we tell you why and you can apply again after 30 days.
  • One person, one affiliate profile, on the same account you already use. There is no second login.
  • Joining can cost credits and can need a short training first. Both are set by Belancer in Admin and are shown on the programme page and on the application.
  • Before we credit any commission to your Belancer Balance, your identity must pass the Belancer ID check, if the check is switched on in Admin. It is on by default.
  • Minimum age: [decision needed] [lawyer to confirm: 18?].
  • When you join an offer you get a tracked link and sometimes a coupon code. When someone opens your link or types your code, Belancer remembers it for 30 days. A sale inside that window can earn you commission.
  • If the same person opens several affiliate links, the latest click wins. By default a typed code beats a link.
  • By default only a buyer who is new to Belancer after the click counts. A person who already had an account before your click does not.
  • One level only. You earn only on sales you send. You are never paid for recruiting other affiliates.
  • One order, one commission. If a seller's own link or a mentor referral already covers an order, that one is paid and your link is not. The order of priority is a Belancer setting.

4. What counts as a valid sale

A sale counts when all of these are true:

  • the buyer's order is completed and paid for, and the money has been released;
  • the order's own Pending period and a further 30 days have passed;
  • the sale was not refunded;
  • no fraud check has flagged it and no one at Belancer is still reviewing it.

5. What does not count

These sales earn nothing, and Belancer may also act on your profile (section 11):

  • Self-referral and your own purchases. An order where you are the buyer or the seller. Orders where the buyer or seller shares your phone number are also blocked.
  • Shared device or payment with the buyer or seller, when that check is switched on.
  • Fake or paid-for clicks, and incentivised clicks, meaning clicks you create by paying or rewarding people for clicking. [decision needed: exact wording]
  • Spam, such as unwanted mass messages or posts. [decision needed: exact wording]
  • Misleading claims about Belancer, a seller or a product, including promises of income. [decision needed: exact wording]
  • Misusing the Belancer name, logo or marks, or looking like Belancer itself. Use only the images and words in the sales kits. [decision needed] [lawyer to confirm]
  • Paid ads on the Belancer brand name, such as bidding on the word Belancer in search ads. [decision needed]
  • Cookie stuffing, which means hiding a click so a visitor is credited to you without choosing to click. [decision needed]
  • A sale where another programme already earns on the same order (section 3).
  • A burst of sales that looks unnatural. Belancer holds those for review (the daily limit is a Belancer setting).

6. Tell your audience

Say clearly, near your link, that you earn a commission if someone buys through it. Do not hide it. Belancer's sales kits include a short line you can use. [decision needed: make this a written rule] [lawyer to confirm: wording for Bangladesh and for other countries]

7. Commission rates

  • The rates are the ones shown on the programme page, on the offer card and in Admin settings. They are not written in these terms, because they change.
  • Each product has its own rate, set by the seller within limits Belancer sets. Belancer can set a different rate for one product, one person or one country.
  • A rate is fixed for a referral when the click happens. If a seller lowers a rate, the lower rate starts only after 14 days' notice, and clicks made before then keep the old rate. [decision needed: the founder's wording was 'the rate at the time of the sale'; the system fixes the rate at the click]
  • Commission is worked out on the base shown for the offer (the order value or Belancer's fee) and in the currency the buyer paid in.
  • Commission never lowers Belancer's normal fee. The normal fee is worked out first.

8. Refunds and chargebacks

  • If an order is refunded before your commission is paid, the commission shrinks by the same share, or is cancelled.
  • If an order is refunded after your commission was paid, the amount becomes a debt and is taken back from your later commission as soon as it is available. Reversals are recorded as entries, never deleted.
  • A chargeback is treated like a refund. [decision needed] [lawyer to confirm]
  • Whether a debt is collected or waived is a Belancer setting.

9. Payouts

  • Commission is first shown as Pending, then Available, then credited to your Belancer Balance. You withdraw it the normal way, with the same checks as any other withdrawal.
  • Belancer credits commission once your Available total in one currency reaches the minimum: ৳500 in BDT or $10 in USD.
  • BDT and USD stay separate. Each currency has its own balance, its own total and its own minimum. They are never added together.
  • There is no fixed payday. Commission that qualifies is credited by a regular Belancer process. [decision needed: a set schedule, for example weekly or monthly]
  • While Belancer shows "Test mode" on the affiliate pages, the numbers are practice numbers and nothing is paid.
  • Belancer can pause your payouts while it checks your account.

10. Taxes

You are responsible for any tax on what you earn, and for reporting it. Belancer does not give tax advice. [lawyer to confirm: whether Belancer must withhold or report anything in Bangladesh or elsewhere]

11. Suspension and ending

  • Belancer can suspend or end your affiliate profile if you break these terms or the other Belancer policies, and records the reason.
  • Belancer can cancel or reverse commission that came from fraud, a blocked sale or a breach of these terms, even after it was paid. [lawyer to confirm]
  • You can stop at any time by no longer sharing your links. Commission already earned on valid sales is still paid, once it qualifies.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we publish a new version on this page with its date. A material change starts at least 14 days after it is published. [decision needed: how affiliates are told, for example by email] If you keep using your links after the change starts, you accept the new version. [lawyer to confirm]

13. Limits on our liability

Belancer does not promise that you will earn anything. We try to keep the programme running but may pause it. To the extent the law allows, Belancer is not liable for lost earnings or indirect loss from using the programme. [lawyer to confirm: the limit and what the law allows]

14. Governing law and disputes

[lawyer to confirm: Bangladesh] The law of Bangladesh governs these terms. [lawyer to confirm: how disputes are settled and which courts or arbitration apply]

15. Your information

  • Visitors are recorded by a hashed anonymous key, never by name or address. For a click we record the time, the link used and the page the visitor landed on.
  • For you we record your application, where you promote, your country, the version of these terms you accepted and when, your clicks, sales and commissions, and the results of fraud checks. We use your phone number only to check it against buyers and sellers.
  • Your ID check is handled under the Privacy Policy. We do not share it with sellers.
  • See also the Cookie Policy.
