If you'd rather keep your earnings in a bank, you can withdraw Available BDT to any Bangladeshi bank account in your name. Bank withdrawals take a little longer than bKash or Nagad, but suit larger amounts and give you a clear bank record. Like every withdrawal, you see the fee and exactly what you receive, then confirm with an SMS code.
Before you start
- An approved ID check and a verified phone number.
- A Bangladeshi bank account in the name on your ID.
- Your bank name, branch, routing number and account number (the routing number is printed on your cheque book).
- Available BDT. USD can't be withdrawn yet; converting it to BDT opens soon.
Steps
1Add your bank (first time only)
Go to Belancer Balance › Payout accounts › Add a payout account. Under Kind of account choose Bank account, then fill in:
- Bank
- Branch
- Routing number
- Account number
- Account holder name ("Exactly as on your ID")
Choose Save payout account and enter the SMS code.
2Wait for the new account to be ready
You see "Saved. It can be used after 24 hours. We emailed and texted you." The account shows Ready with a date.
3Open Withdraw and choose your bank
On the BDT card choose Withdraw. Under To, pick your bank account. It shows the usual arrival time for banks.
4Enter the amount and check the summary
Enter the amount. The Summary shows Fee (৳0) and You receive.
5Confirm
Choose Withdraw, enter the SMS Code, then Confirm withdrawal.
What happens next
The amount shows as Being paid out until it's sent in the next batch (11:00,16:00 Asia/Dhaka). Your bank then credits it on a business day. You get an email when it's sent. Large withdrawals may be checked by our team first.
Troubleshooting
- The routing number is refused. Check the routing number on your cheque book or bank website.
- "Enter the bank." Pick your bank from the list.
- "The account must be in the name on your ID." Use your own account, not a family member's or company's.
- "Withdrawal returned". The bank couldn't credit it, often a wrong account number or a closed account. The money is Available again. Fix the account and try again.
- It hasn't arrived after the usual time. Weekends and bank holidays don't count. Then contact support with the withdrawal date and amount.
Good to know
- Earnings certificate: a bank may ask for proof of income. Belancer can issue a signed one. See earnings certificate.
- Same daily limit applies across all methods: ৳10,00,000.
- Name checks: if the name is close but not exact, our team checks it before the first payout.
Tip: Copy the account number from your bank app instead of typing it, to avoid a returned withdrawal.
Note: USD withdrawals to foreign banks, PayPal or Payoneer aren't open yet.
Questions and answers
How long does a bank withdrawal take?
Longer than mobile wallets. Bank transfers arrive on business days after the withdrawal is sent; the screen shows the usual time before you confirm.
What's the fee?
৳0 per bank withdrawal, shown in the summary.
Where do I find my routing number?
It's printed on your cheque book, and your bank or branch website lists it too.
Can I withdraw to a joint or company account?
The account must be in the name on your ID check. For an agency, the owner withdraws to an account in the owner's name.
Can I withdraw to a bank outside Bangladesh?
Not at the moment. Withdrawals are BDT only, to Bangladeshi banks, bKash or Nagad.
Why use a bank instead of bKash?
Banks suit bigger amounts, and bank records help when you apply for loans or visas alongside an earnings certificate.
