How to search and find freelancers and services on Belancer.

You can find freelancers and services on Belancer by typing what you need in the search bar ("What service are you looking for today?") or by browsing categories from the menu. Search understands Bangla, Banglish and English. Then narrow results with filters, compare gigs and save searches to get alerts.

Before you start

• You can browse without an account, but you need one to order, message or save. See how to sign up.
• Prices show only in your currency (BDT in Bangladesh, USD elsewhere).

Steps

1Search or browse

• Search: type in the search bar at the top. Suggestions appear as you type: services, freelancers, agencies and your recent searches.
• Browse: hover over a category in the category bar (or open the menu on a phone) and pick a sub-category.

2Pick the right results tab

Results have tabs: Services, Freelancers, Agencies, Consultants and Projects. Choose Services to buy a gig, Freelancers to compare people. A tab that says it "opens soon" is still being switched on.

3Filter the list

Use the filter pills at the top:

• Category, to narrow to one category.
• Budget in your currency, and Delivery time.
• Seller details: ID-verified sellers only.
• Handpicked and Top Rated sellers.

Applied filters show as chips. Choose Clear all to start again. Sort by Relevance, Best selling, Newest, Price or Top rated.

4Open a gig and compare

Each gig card shows the first picture, seller and badge, title, rating and the From price (the Basic package). Open a gig to compare Basic, Standard and Premium in the package table. See how to buy a gig.

5Come back to what you like

Saving gigs and searches is coming soon. For now, open a gig in a new tab or bookmark it in your browser, so you can compare and come back later.

What happens next

When you find the right freelancer, you can order a package, message them, request a custom offer or invite them to a project.

Troubleshooting

• No results. Check spelling (we suggest corrections), try fewer filters or a broader category. You can always Post a project or choose Let Belancer manage it.
• A gig I bookmarked says it's paused. The seller isn't taking new orders right now. Try again later or pick another seller.

Good to know

• Category pages show each category's name in English and Bangla, the most popular sub-categories, Handpicked freelancers in that category and common questions. They are a good place to start if you don't know the exact word to search for.
• Directories. You can browse all services and all consultants. The freelancer, agency and project tabs say "opens soon" while they're being switched on.
• Agencies appear as wider cards in results. An agency delivers through one assigned team member per order.
• Price filters use the Basic package price in whole taka or dollars, so the price on the card is the lowest package.

Note: Contact details never show on cards or profiles. Use Contact to message a freelancer inside Belancer.
