On this page
Sometimes a payment doesn't finish: you closed the bKash page, your card's one-time code timed out, or your bank declined it. Belancer then shows Payment wasn't completed or Payment didn't go through, with the reason. In almost every case no money was taken, your order is saved, and you can try again or use another method.
Before you start
- Have your transaction ID or SMS ready if money left your account.
- Check your wallet balance, card limits and internet connection.
Steps
1Read the message
The page shows the method, the order and the amount, and one of these reasons:
- "You cancelled, or bKash timed out." (with your method's name)
- "The payment was declined by your bank or wallet."
- "We couldn't confirm the payment with the provider."
- "The checkout was closed before the payment finished."
- "A newer try replaced this one."
- "The payment went through, but we couldn't start the order, so it was undone."
- "This order was already paid."
2Check that nothing was taken
"No money was taken. Your order is saved for 24 hours." If the reason says the payment was undone, the money goes back the way it came.
3Try again or switch method
- Try … again (for example Try bKash again) reopens the same method's page.
- Use another method takes you back to checkout to pick something else.
4If money left your account
Wait a little and refresh My orders. If the order is still unpaid, contact support with the transaction ID. See contact support.
What happens next
When a later try succeeds, your order starts as usual and the money is held as Payment Secured. Failed tries never appear as invoices.
Troubleshooting
- "Too many tries for this checkout." Start again from the gig or offer.
- "No payment method is open for your currency right now." A gateway is down; try again later.
- "That method isn't open for your currency." BDT accounts use SSLCommerz or bank transfer, USD accounts use card or PayPal.
- "Your bank transfer is being checked." Bank transfers wait for our team. That's not a failure. See pay by bank transfer.
- "Our team couldn't confirm your bank transfer." Check your email for the reason; then pay another way or reply with better proof.
- The page keeps loading. Don't pay again straight away. Check My orders first.
Good to know
- Holds on cards: a failed card payment can leave a temporary "pending" line on your card; your bank removes it by itself.
- Wallet timeouts: bKash and Nagad pages expire after a short time. Have your phone ready before choosing Pay.
- Safe retries: every checkout has a unique key, so double taps or refreshes don't charge you twice.
Tip: If a card keeps getting declined, try a mobile wallet (in Bangladesh) or PayPal (outside Bangladesh).
Important: Belancer support will never ask for your PIN, card number or one-time code.
Questions and answers
Was any money taken?
If you see "Payment wasn't completed", no money was taken. If your bank or wallet still shows a deduction, it's a temporary hold that's released by the provider.
How long is my order saved?
For 24 hours after the failed try. After that, start again from the gig or offer.
Can I be charged twice if I try again?
No. Each checkout can only be paid once. If an order was already paid, you'll see "This order was already paid."
How many times can I try?
A few times per checkout (5). After that, start a fresh checkout from the gig or offer.
Money left my account but the order isn't paid. Who do I contact?
Contact support with the transaction ID, the amount and the time. Finance checks it against the gateway records.
