On this page

Belancer's Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. The Cookie Policy explains the small files that keep you signed in and, only with your consent, help us understand how pages are used. This article sums both up in plain words. The binding texts are the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy pages.

Before you start

  • To get, correct or delete your data, send us a message from the help centre. Cookie choices are under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and marketing emails under notification settings.
  • Cookie choices are under Cookie settings in the footer.

Steps

1Know what's collected

  • Account: name, email, phone, country, language and password (stored scrambled).
  • ID check (sellers): ID photos, a selfie and document details, kept privately.
  • Your work: profiles, gigs, orders, messages, files, reviews, support requests.
  • Payments: amounts, currencies and payout methods. Card details stay with the provider.
  • Device and usage: sign-in times, device, pages used, error reports.

2Know why

To run your account and payments, to keep Belancer safe from fake accounts and scams, to meet the law (tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering), to improve Belancer, and to send messages you control. Marketing only with your consent.

3Know how long

  • Payment records: 7 years.
  • ID check files: 5 years after the account closes.
  • Messages: 3 years.
  • Server logs: 90 days.
  • A deleted account can be restored for 30 days.

4Use your rights

Ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or withdraw consent. We answer within 30 days.

5Set your cookie choice

On the banner choose Accept all, Reject non-essential or Choose (Analytics, Marketing, Preferences). Essential cookies (sign-in, security, your language and theme) are always on.

What happens next

Your cookie choice applies across all Belancer apps and follows your account when you're signed in. We ask again every 12 months or when the policy changes.

Troubleshooting

  • Part of my deletion request was refused. Some records (ledger, invoices, tax, ID check during retention) must be kept by law. The reply says what and until when.
  • The cookie banner keeps coming back. Your browser may be clearing cookies; sign in so your choice follows your account.
  • I want to stop marketing emails. Switch off News & offers in notification settings, or send us a message.

Good to know

  • Sharing: only with services that help run Belancer (payments, email and SMS, hosting), the other side of an order when needed, and authorities when the law requires.
  • Earnings certificates show only your name, address and earnings, never your email, phone or ID numbers.
  • Contact: [email protected].

Note: This article is a guide. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy pages are the binding texts.

Tip: Turn on two-step sign-in. It's the best single step to keep your data safe.
