  • Everyone
On this page

You can see every device that is signed in to your Belancer account, and your recent sign-ins, on Your devices & sign-ins: open your devices page. This device comes first, then others with their device name, approximate place and last activity. If something looks wrong, change your password: that signs you out everywhere else.

Before you start

  • Be signed in on a device you trust.
  • Have your email open, in case you need to reset your password.

Steps

1Open your devices page

Go to your devices page (Settings › Your devices & sign-ins). This device is listed first.

2Check each device

For each device you see the device or browser name, an approximate place ("Near … (approximate)") and when it was last active. Anything you don't recognise is worth acting on.

3Check recent sign-ins

Under Recent sign-ins, each line shows Signed in, Signed out or Wrong password, with the time. Several wrong passwords you didn't type can mean someone is guessing.

4Sign out everywhere else

Change your password with reset your password. Saving the new password signs out every other device. Signing out a single device from the list is coming soon.

What happens next

After you change your password, also turn on two-step sign-in and check your payout accounts. Withdrawals pause briefly after a password reset to protect your earnings.

Troubleshooting

  • I see a device I don't know. Change your password, then turn on two-step sign-in.
  • I was signed out unexpectedly. Sessions end after 14 days without activity, after 30 days in total, or after a password or two-step change. Just sign in again.
  • I keep getting asked for my two-step code on my own laptop. Tick Remember this device when you sign in.
  • I think someone took my money. Contact support at once from contact support, and say what you saw.

Good to know

  • Signs of a problem: messages you didn't send, offers you didn't make, a payout account you didn't add, or codes you didn't ask for. Act at once.
  • What to do, in order: change your password, turn on two-step sign-in, check your payout accounts, then contact support.
  • Staff never sign in as you. Belancer support can look at your account in a read-only way to help, and every view is logged. They never need your password.
  • Old Belancer sessions were not carried over to the new site. Everyone signs in once again after the move.
  • Coming soon: signing out one device from the list, and an email when your account is signed in from a new device.

Important: Signing in on a shared or office computer? Don't tick Keep me signed in, and sign out when you're done.

Note: Signing in again on the same device replaces its old session, so the list doesn't fill up with duplicates.

Questions and answers

Where do I see my devices?

On Your devices & sign-ins, at /settings/devices. It lists each device and your recent sign-ins, this device first.

Can I sign out one device?

Not from the list yet; that's coming soon. To sign out everywhere else, change your password.

Why is the location wrong?

Locations are approximate, based on the internet connection, and often show a nearby city or your provider's city.

Do I get an email when someone signs in from a new device?

New-device sign-in alerts are coming soon. Until then, check your devices page now and then.

Does signing out everywhere cancel my orders?

No. It only ends sign-in sessions. Your orders, messages and Balance are not affected.
